With deepest sorrow we share that beloved Wilma LoBiondo passed away on October 29th 2022 at the age of 90 in her home surrounded by loved ones. She is now reunited with her husband, parents, siblings and many other loved ones.
Born on August 13th 1932 to parents John and Anna Zigo in Newark, NJ until marring her love John in 1955. They soon moved to Irvington where they raised their four children for 20 years. As the children were younger she enjoyed being a Scout leader. They then moved to Warren Township where she has spent the last 46 years of her life. She had many professions including working for RCA, Benjamin Moore, Roselle Precision in Berkley Heights for 20 years and lastly her favorite job at the Pathmark bakery where she got to enjoy her favorite hobby.
Wilma was a fiery women who will be affectionately remembered for her love of baking (we were all so lucky to enjoy her fabulous cookies) her honest comical comments and spending quality time making memories with her family. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting, needlework and being an active member of the Warren Senior Center. After 20 years of being a caregiver to her husband, John, who suffered from Parkinson Disease her children made sure she was now the one being taken care of. They cared for her daily to ensure she had the best life full of adventure and wonderful memories. She enjoyed many vacations including spending time with Josephine and her children in Maine, Rosanne in Tennessee and California, annual birthday trips with Lisa and Lauren at the Jersey Shore and Boca-Raton. She loved her lunch dates with her granddaughter Lauren and grocery shopping with her son John who was there for her day in and day out.
She was predeceased by her loving husband John Baptiste LoBiondo in 2002, her siblings Annie, Elanor, Joseph, Millie and Olga. She is survived by children, Rosanne Bryant, Josephine Donovan, Lisa Treich and John LoBiondo. Her grandchildren, Alana, Donald, Malinda, Nathan, Lauren and great grandchildren, Ryder, Walker and Skyler.
